Talking about quality of life

So much has been going on here there just has not been time to post.  I can't help, however, but take a moment to comment on the caring population not just in Villisca but southwest Iowa.  It is not surprising to see Villiscans rally around Joel Herzberg's family. He is a well loved young man as is his family. We have seen though the same caring beyond Villisca with fundraisers for the family coming from Essex athletes and from the Clarinda Academy.  We saw Joel honored at the Corner Conference Tournement.  The story has been told in the Omaha World Herald as well as the Villisca Review and the Red Oak Express. What a wonderful place to live!!   Our prayers go to Joel, his family, and all his caretakers. 

A Great Villisca Christmas Gift Idea

Just in time for Christmas, the VHS Jr. Class Parents are selling Bluejay license plate frames and at what a price - 1 for $10; 2 for $14. and 3 for $15.
